Keyloop is a leading automotive technology company serving OEMs and retailers with solutions that drive growth across every touchpoint in 90+ countries.

Having suffered several connectivity outages at their Reading Head Office, KeyLoop was looking for a one-stop shop for end-to-end user connectivity with a heavy emphasis on redundancy and future-proofing.

Solution

Starting with the dual, diversely run fibre circuits configured as an RA02 line, we then added a bonded dual 5G backup connection utilising a pair of Peplinks top-of-the-line SDX Pros and their 5G dome. 

This neatly presented a single internet connection to our HA pair of Watch Guard M290 security appliances running in active standby mode for complete reliability and security. 

This is where the stack of Ruckus ICX switches, configured with high-speed 10 gig links and diverse routing back to the core, came in to form the centre of the network, which was then perfectly paired with Ruckus’ WiFi 6 access points. 

Users are onboarded using Ruckus’ certificate-based Cloud Path technology, which ensures frictionless connectivity. With the whole network remotely monitored and managed, everyone is now safe and connected at all times.

Challenges

Internal and external cabling in a shared office environment is always a challenge. Thankfully, the 5G element of the connectivity plan was able to step in and cover the “Pre-Fibre Deployment” and ensure the testing and commissioning remained on track.
