Overview
Simpli-Fi was engaged to design and deliver a converged digital infrastructure for Corner Corner, a pioneering events and immersive experiences venue in Canada Water. Developed by KERB and Broadwick, the venue hosts high-impact activations such as the globally recognised Minecraft adventure and required a robust, future-ready network to support operations, safety, and guest engagement.
From a bare-bones shell to a smart venue, Simpli-Fi’s work involved the planning and deployment of a site-wide converged network—one that powers WiFi, CCTV, access control, BMS, and other critical systems via a unified, scalable infrastructure. This backbone now underpins seamless check-ins, immersive content delivery, and secure facility management.

Challenges
Transforming a raw venue into a smart, connected space presented several key hurdles:
- Signal coverage: An open-plan industrial space required uniform wireless coverage, despite structural obstructions and fluctuating occupancy
- Multiple user profiles: A single network had to securely serve guests, performers, technical crews, and staff without performance degradation
- System integration: All core systems—WiFi, CCTV, BMS, access control—needed to run over a single, manageable network
- Discreet deployment: All technology had to be subtly integrated into the venue design
