Alertacall at Barton Court

Alertacall is the first organisation in the world to specialise in the development of technology to improve daily contact, designed to keep people independent and drive meaningful outcomes. Alertacall works with housing providers, helping people feel safe, connected and informed. 

Alertacall engaged Simpli-Fi to work with them as their WiFi delivery partner and as part of an initial proof of concept. We were asked to survey, design, install and maintain an enterprise-grade WiFi network and managed service throughout the Barton Court housing scheme to provide a reliable network for the Alertacall IoT devices and video entry system, as well as Internet access for the residents and staff. 

The Solution

Simpli-Fi worked with Alertacall to conduct wireless surveys, design and install a fully managed WiFi and core network providing coverage throughout the Barton Court housing development. 

Primary and backup Internet lines were installed, and a Cat 6 site infrastructure with a core network cabinet and edge cabinet provide site-wide access. 

The WiFi network supports the 40 Alertacall IoT devices and resident and staff WiFi access for daily usage. Simpli-Fi provides a Managed Support service with 24/7 monitoring and a helpdesk to Alertacall.
