The phased approach of the WiFi upgrade at Drayton Manor meant we needed to make sure the new Ruckus network worked seamlessly with the school’s legacy Meraki network. This required channel planning between the systems and wireless validation surveys to avoid any interference between the two systems. We need to make sure the user experience is also seamless as there would be a risk of devices jumping between the two separate networks, so there is a lot of planning and fine-tuning to bring the 6th form online successfully.
