What is wireless point-to-point?
Point-to-point wireless is a data connection between two points (known as “endpoints”). The connection is delivered wirelessly and so does not require physical cabled infrastructure between the buildings. Wireless point-to-point can be used to provide a direct link for short- and long-range connections where line of sight is available, and it delivers data at a comparable speed to a physical fibre line.
Wireless Point-to-Point is ideal for networking buildings and multiple sites when leased lines are not an option. It is also a good low-cost alternative for leased lines and an excellent disaster recovery solution.
