MESH allows for multiple, free standing AP’s (mesh points) to communicate to the Central Controller via other wired AP’s (mesh portals)which are connected to the network with a Category 5e or Category 6 cable. This SERVICE becomes very useful in areas where high capacity wireless usage is required but limited network cabling restricts the location and quantities of AP’s. A common problem in many schools!!
